Job Functions: Considers all projects needs over the duration of a project life. Conceives a Procurement Plan and ensures it is regularly updated. Understands project specifications. Studies drawings and documents and requests clarification, if needed. Floats enquiries, receives and analyzes quotations and prepares comparison sheets for technical, prices and schedule against budget and project specification. Negotiates the best payment terms and contract conditions with potential suppliers ensuring that they are all provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements. Issues Letter of Intent/Letter of Award and Sub-contract agreement to the successful bidder ensuring commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions Obtains technical submittal of the successful bidder to submit to the client/Consultant for approval. Follows up the Sub-contractors to submit their required Insurances and Bonds as per the contractual agreement. Keeps updated with market developments. Searches for, identifies, and establishes contacts with new suppliers and subcontractors and updates database accordingly. Manages the periodic reevaluation of suppliers and subcontractors. Creates monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.Qualifications:CIVIL Engineering bachelors degree holder Good technical knowledge of contracting supplies. Good interpersonal, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills Minimum 10 years experience in procurement in a contracting company Excellent command in English (speaking and writing) Available in UAE Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately.
