An exciting opportunity is available forSuperintendent, Operation - ButanolLocated in Jubail, KSA Job Purpose: To supervise the on-going performance of all assets (plant & people) in the concerned plant to ensure their safety, quality and operation in order to meet predefined, ongoing & developing business needs and maintain the uninterrupted supply of the specified product. To work closely with the Shift Supervisor to monitor day to day activities and troubleshooting for Plant related issues. Role Responsibilities:

• As a senior member of the concerned plant team, contribute to the formulation and implementation of the concerned plant strategy and plans to fulfil the function/business line needs and objectives.
• To supervise day-to-day operations of the assigned organizational unit, ensuring that the work processes are implemented as designed and complied with established standards and procedures, make sure that the employees are motivated, understand what is expected of them and perform according to the designated standards.
• To coordinate on daily basis to pick up any operational problems inside the plant, come up with a corrective action plan and ensure fast implementation in coordination with relevant functions in order to minimize loss of productivity.
• To monitor quality on hourly and daily basis and take corrective actions to mitigate any problems before the product reaches the end consumer.
• Supervise the daily production targets with a view to achieve monthly and quarterly targets with the best possible means of production to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Manage the preparation of monthly and quarterly production reports and their timely delivery to Senior Management and others to enable a thorough and informed management decision making process.
• To contribute in the preparation of the departmental budget with a view to incorporate and justify any allocations for new modifications/improvements in the section.
• Setting the needs budget of all consumables and monitoring of all consumables and utilities to meet departmental goals and targets in optimum limits.
• Contribute in the periodic update of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) manual to ensure that all operating activities in the section are covered with the approved SOP and that the same is available to the whole staff and shift workers with a view to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of plant activity in coordination with EHSS department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Promote safety and environmental awareness throughout the team members

with a view to ensure that the section maintains the highest level of safety quality and environment.

• To Contribute to the development and oversees the implementation of

departmental policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of the concerned plant to ensure that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality and cost-effective service to customers.

• Take overall responsibility to ensure that all staff are adequately trained and

experienced to carry out their respective duties in the best possible manner.

• Guides the development and implementation of improvement processes to

enhance the plant and team performance, authorizes change (MOC) and takes overall responsibility till its implementation with a view to consistently improve efficiency and section performance.

• To coordinate with other departments for any maintenance, reliability and PM

related issues.

• Ensure compliance with IMRS and Responsible care.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in chemical engineering ora relevant discipline.
• 10 experienced years in operation or relevant fields.
