Prepares kitchen equipment for use Assists with checking and receiving goods Store goods Maintain storage areas Clean and store equipment Clean premises Handle waste and linen Maintain a hygienic kitchen Clean the kitchen and equipment Maintain personal hygiene Attend to all briefings Participate in training Follows House Rules and Regulations Follows Health and Safety Rules Follows Grooming Regulations Follows Standard Operations Procedures of the department and the hotel Follows HACCP Procedures of the department and the hotel Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirementsGood understanding of English Flexibility in shifts Minimum one year of experience in similar role in a 4 or 5 * hotel Concern for quality and attention to details Able to work in a fast paced environment and can multitask
