ResponsibilitiesWeatherford currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Application Engineer in Liner Hanger to join the team in KSA. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate customer and well requirements: An application engineer for liner hangers must be able to evaluate the requirements of customers and well construction to provide effective solutions.
• Design and plan liner hanger jobs: They are responsible for designing liner hanger installations based on the technical specifications of customers.
• Identify and resolve technical issues: Application engineers must identify and troubleshoot technical issues as required.
• Conduct technical training: They provide technical training for field personnel and customers to ensure their product knowledge is up to date
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Engineers must work closely with other teams such as sales, marketing, R&D, and operations to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Perform hydraulic simulations & torque and drag modeling for Liner Hanger and lower completions installations.
• Stay updated with industry trends: They must keep up to date with latest industry trends, new technologies, and market developments for continuous innovation.
• Create technical documentation: Engineers must prepare technical documents, product specifications, running and installation procedure and other appropriate materials to assist with providing excellent service to customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations: Application engineers must ensure that all the planned jobs meet all safety regulations and exceed industry standards.
• Provide technical support: They must provide technical support to customers and field personnel in terms of installation, performance, and maintenance of products.
• Assist in new product development: Application engineers contribute to the new product development process by providing technical input and brainstorming with product design teams.

• 3+ years related experience.
• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field
• Strong technical skills, including a working knowledge of Liner Hanger and Downhole Completion Tools
