Job Description

1. Assist/coordinate with respective PMT in obtaining the marine spread requirements which will include the details as below,
   • Brief specification of Vessel required for the project execution.
   • Mobilization window
   • Firm period of hire with extensions if any
   • Crane requirements(with its details) and other aspects of the Vessel.
2. 1. Assist in Preparation of RFQ/ RFP (Request for Quotation/ Proposal),
      • Keeping a track of Saudi Aramco latest requirements
      • Analyzing and developing understanding of all-Saudi Aramco requirements ( rules and regulations) pertaining to the type of Vessel.
      • Ensuring that the requisites are captured in the RFQ ensuring min or no exposure to liabilities that may impede Vessel performance.
   2. 1. Assist in obtaining the RFQ vetted by respective Project contract departments for their inputs on the RFQ, CPA clauses that may affect Vessels performance, amending the RFQ package accordingly and upload to MOSS.
         • Discussing the final format with PMT, Contract and other stake holders for its authenticity.
         • Monitoring of the RFQ responses, Keeping a track, and maintaining a service register ensuring that no response is missed out.
         • Evaluation of the RFQs and preparation data sheet for technical bid evaluation.
      2. 1. Assist in Preparation of Technical evaluation sheet containing primary details of Vessels and Aramco requirements enabling selection of right Vessel. Raise TQs through SCM and obtain clarification .
         2. Assist in arranging vetting of selected Vessels/ Barges/ MO(D)U, PLV/Installation Vessels by MWS/ SA TPI and ensuring the compliance to SA requirements. Coordinate and ensure that shortfalls listed in MWS report are satisfactorily closed out in preparation mobilization to KSA.
         3. Coordinate with Vessel Owners in ensure to Deliver the Vessels to the project fully compliant to SA requirements and ready, that operates safely and efficiently and shall pass Saudi Aramco Marine Inspection.
         4. Provide operational assistance to the marine Operations team as required.
         5. Assist in Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental and legislative requirements as per Saudi Aramco.
         6. Participate in technical reviews with Vessel Owners and other service providers.
         7. Assist in Maintaining and updating the technical library for the Vessel and its equipments, SOP and specific activities carried out by the Vessel and its equipment.
         8. Assist in continuously monitoring, improving vessel safety and operational performance.
3. 1. Marine management and operational offshore experience, port operations exposure with min 15 years experience.
   2. Proven ability to solve problems without supervision and delivery effective results.
   3. Able to demonstrate a high standard of technical know-how, HSE and quality leadership in work behaviors
   4. Strong organizational capacities
   5. Fluent in English with good analytical as well as written and communication skills.
   6. Proven leadership and people management skills.
   7. Strong MS office/IT capability and comfortable with bespoke IT systems.
   8. Derive energy from facing challenges and provide actionable solutions.
