Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in commissioning and troubleshooting of turbomachinery controls and instrumentation in the oil and gas industry. Additionally, experience with antisurge control on centrifugal compressors, sequencing and controls on steam turbines, as well as field instrumentation and loop tuning, is required.Responsibilities:

  • Commission and troubleshoot turbomachinery controls and instrumentation systems in the oil and gas industry
  • Implement Antisurge control on centrifugal compressors to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Develop and optimize sequencing and controls on steam turbines for optimal performance
  • Perform field instrumentation (control valve and transmitter) calibration, and troubleshooting
  • Conduct loop troubleshooting, tuning to optimize control system performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Instrumentation & controls or electronics preferred) or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, with a focus on turbomachinery controls and instrumentation in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong knowledge and experience with commissioning and troubleshooting of turbomachinery controls and instrumentation
  • Expertise in antisurge control on centrifugal compressors, sequencing and controls on steam turbines
  • Proficiency in field instrumentation calibration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with loop tuning for optimal control system performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel and work in remote locations as required
  • Saudi National preferred.
