Job Description

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXTThis job i found in WFP Yemen, Sanaa.?The job holders typically report to a Programme Policy Officer or the designate.?At this level, job holders are responsible for the completion of a range of specialized and/or standardized processes and activities requiring some interpretation of standard guidelines and practices. Job holders are able to recommend a course of action to staff at various levels and may allocate tasks to other support staff. They work under minimum supervision, perform basic analyses and compile reports to support information consistency and smooth implementation of programmes/projects.??JOB PURPOSETo perform specialized and/or standardized policy and programme-related processes and activities to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.??KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (part one)

  1. Contribute to remote monitoring exercises for various programme activities
  2. Assist the remote monitoring team with conducting daily surveys through phone calls to selected respondents as per agreed sample plan and using standard data collection tools.
  3. Review remote monitoring plans and prepare verification lists to be shared with internal and outsources call centre operator teams.
  4. Regularly follow up on the implementation of the remote monitoring activities, track progress against the plan and timely identify and address challenges and bottlenecks.
  5. Contribute to the review, quality control and validation of data collected through remote monitoring activities.
  6. Identify data quality issues, such as missing or inaccurate data, and report to the team leader to address issues and contribute to the overall quality of the remote monitoring activities.
  7. Ensure data is collected in an accurate manner and captured through the established data collection and data management tools.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (part two)8. Follow up with remote monitoring operators on beneficiaries? feedback, when needed.9. Compile and validate data, and support data analysis and preparation of regular progress reports for the Head of Unit and inputs for other reporting products.10. Take responsibility for the maintenance of set standard systems and files, to ensure information is accurate and readily available for the function.11. Timely notify and submit critical findings to the supervisor.12. Provide inputs as necessary for various tasks led by the call centre team coordinator, including developing a remote monitoring strategy, developing monthly remote monitoring plan and regularly reviewing and updating data collection tools.13. Contribute to capacity strengthening initiatives for new staff.14. Contribute to the coordination with other units as necessary15. Assist in any other tasks as required.
