Job Description

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers/vendors to ensure the timely procurement of high-quality ingredients, materials, and supplies.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company while maintaining quality standards.
  • Procurement: Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all purchased items meet the companys quality and safety standards.
  • Cost Management: Analyse market trends, monitor pricing fluctuations, and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize purchasing processes and reduce expenses.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and pricing information. Generate regular reports on procurement activities, budget adherence, and inventory levels.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments including Operations, Finance, and Culinary to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with company goals.
