Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryThe Wound Care Resource Nurse focuses on practice development; supporting and educating staff in the care of patients with tissue viability needs.˙The role includes the management and coordination of the Nursing Wound Care and Prevention activities, including the monitoring of compliance to policies and standards as required. The Wound Care Resource Nurses will develop, implement and evaluate wound care activities as well as provide wound related education and support for all nursing staffEducation/LicensureEssential:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing, minimum 3 years duration (Western, Saudi, Malaysia, South Africa) or Prince Sultan Cardiac Centre Diploma Program (Saudi).Bachelor Degree of Nursing (Filipino andEastern Europe ).Essential:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Current licensure (RN) with a nursing governing body from the employee?s country of origin.Essential:˙BLS certification.Essential:˙License from Saudi Commission for Health Specialities.Desirable:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Certified Wound Care Nursing qualification or equivalent.Professional Experience˙Essential Five (5) years recent clinical nursing experience, preferably with at least 2 years in cardiac nursing.Desirable˙Previous experience in wound care nursing.
