Job Description

Introduction ?An exciting opportunity exists for a talented individual to lead Artistic Gymnastics coaching at Gymnastic Centre in the City of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Artistic Programme Coach will be responsible for creating and delivering training programmes for identified gymnasts aged between 2? 16 years old girls and 2 ? 12 years old boys. The head Artistic Coach position is responsible for organizing, implementing, and communicating all activities in the artistic program. She is also responsible for coaching the assigned groups to provide a learning environment for all athletes and prepare them for (future) competition. The role is accountable for working within the clubs vision, mission, policies, procedures and goals set forth by the Management Team. Gymnastics Centre is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Coach who has the mindset and skills required to participate in the commencement of the first specialized private gymnastic club in Saudi Arabia and develop an effective long term performance pathway and excellence.?The head coach will report to the Chief Executive Officer. ?Main Areas of Responsibility?

  1. The Coach will be responsible for delivering a successful programme. The role will involve recruiting and catching new gymnasts.
  2. Provide strategic focus and leadership for the squad programme taking responsibility for all aspects of the programmes delivered.
  3. Work closely with the squad coaches to design and implement high quality holistic training and competition programmes for gymnasts.
  4. Assist gymnasts and coaches to develop training and competition strategies to maximise their potential.
  5. Create a discipline focussed Performance Programme and co-ordinate the activities of the Performance squad.
  6. Monitor, measure and evaluate effectiveness of the programme.
  7. Provide guidance, mentoring and direction to other squad coaches.
  8. Contribute to the development programmes of squad coaches, and support staff involved with the programme.
  9. Make recommendations for selection of gymnasts into the squad programme.?
  10. Undertake leadership roles at training camps and national and international events as appropriate.
  11. Compliance and commitment to all aspects of child protection, health and safety and welfare in all matters.
