JOB SUMMARYThe ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on experienced professional with strong knowledge of web application development and content management platforms. The Web Application Developer will be responsible for creating and updating our current online applications portfolio from layout to function, as well as developing and implementing a usability testing process to ensure that new applications meet our company?s specific product development requirements.?JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Create web-based multi-tier applications that address the phases of SDLC (software development life cycle)Develop comprehensive application testing procedures and build automated tests to validate customizationsOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityCollaborate with other team members and stakeholdersUpdate existing applications to meet the security and functionality standards as mandated by company policiesAssist in updating application development policies to ensure that all future applications meet the latest technical requirementsEnsuring end user issues are resolved, either as an individual or with assistance from the support team while maintaining an up to date knowledge of practice specific to our company?s application portfolio?
