Job Description

The role holder is responsible for facilitating and ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipment is safely and accurately unloaded, received, checked, wrapped and put-away. also responsible for executing all other tasks relating to warehouse operations as per the defined guidelines.Core Responsibilities:

  • Completes daily warehousing operations which includes but not limited to receiving inventory, packing and delivery of stock items, operating Manual Handling Equipment as required, and minimizing any losses and damages during these processes
  • Ensures compliance with Environment Health & Safety (EHS), Port & Customs and other local authorities rules and regulations
  • Maintains a safe working environment within the Warehouse by keeping up to date with any changes in regulations and procedures
  • Reports any incidents or accidents immediately to the managements
  • Completes the relevant checks prior to commencing the shift and report any malfunction or damage
  • Undertakes forklift truck duties as required, ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company warehouse guidelines observed
  • Works with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times
  • Supports and assist newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing training and guidance as appropriate
