ÿ -Supervise and monitor day ?to-day fleet operations.- Supervise transport operators, drivers, staff and contracted services as required.- Supervise workloads, schedule, tasks and other related functions.- Handle loading and unloading operations.- Review and recommend the repair and replacement of trucks and fleet vehicles- Ensure maintenance of vehicles in good running condition.- Ensure compliance of safety standards in transportation functions.- Supervise contractors who may be engaged to perform service work for the department- Prepare reports as required by the Management- Develop and maintain a positive working rapport with the transport operators, staff and the management- Perform other duties as may be required or assigned by the Management , oversees driver pre-trip inspections and guarantees that vehicles are ready for service.-Works in conjunction with Maintenance Department to determine which vehicles are out of service and which vehicles are pulled from the ?ready line? because of mechanical defects;
