Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely transportation of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including the pickup and delivery of goods and materials
  2. Plan and optimize routes for transportation vehicles, taking into account factors such as traffic and weather conditions
  3. Track and monitor the progress of transportation activities, and provide updates to relevant stakeholders
  4. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
  5. Resolve any issues or delays in transportation, such as mechanical breakdowns or traffic congestion
  6. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of goods
  7. Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including invoices, receipts, and delivery confirmations
  8. Monitor and assess the performance of transportation service providers, and make recommendations for improvement
  9. Provide support and guidance to drivers and transportation staff
  10. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in transportation operations
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in transportation coordination or a related field
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software
  6. Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
  7. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  8. Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  10. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
