DescriptionJob Briefing:As a Test Pilot 412 in our helicopter maintenance company, you will be responsible for conducting flight tests and evaluations on Bell 412 helicopters. Your role is crucial in ensuring the airworthiness and performance of our clients helicopters after maintenance, modifications, or repairs. You will work closely with a team of engineers, technicians, and other pilots to plan, execute, and report on flight tests.Responsibilities:Conduct flight tests and evaluations on Bell 412 helicopters to verify and validate the performance, systems functionality, and airworthiness of the aircraft.Plan and coordinate flight test activities, including test objectives, test plans, flight profiles, and instrumentation requirements.Perform pre-flight inspections and ensure the readiness and safety of the aircraft for flight tests.Execute flight tests according to established procedures, checklists, and safety protocols.Monitor and record aircraft behavior, performance parameters, and system responses during flight tests.Analyze flight test data and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to interpret findings and provide recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.Prepare accurate and comprehensive flight test reports, documenting test procedures, results, and any observed anomalies or issues.Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other pilots to develop and refine flight test methodologies, procedures, and tools.Stay updated on the latest aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to flight testing and aircraft performance.Participate in safety meetings, contribute to safety initiatives, and promote a culture of safety within the flight operations department.
