Job Description

Personal Spec:We are seeking a charismatic, organized, and persistent Tenders Coordinator to help lead the supplier relations and bidding process within the Medical Equipment division. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the division?s tenders strategy, sourcing approach, pricing plan, and product and supplier selection. Candidate must have strong attention to detail and be able to work with tight deadlines and under heavy pressure with many moving parts. Position requires a tough personality, strategic thinking, and managing difficult back-and-forth negotiations with manufacturing partners. & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full Tender / Project cycle including scouting opportunities; studying specifications and Terms & Conditions; sourcing and selecting the most suitable suppliers in coordination with the Tenders Manager; managing enquiries and clarifications with the customer; preparing samples and all supporting documents; and preparing and submitting Technical and Commercial offers in coordination with the Tenders Manager
  • Lead day-to-day negotiations with Manufacturing Partners to find solutions for complex and high-stakes problems
  • Identify major business development opportunities as far as Product Line Selection and Manufacturing Partner Sourcing are concerned
  • Constantly monitor, evaluate, and find ways to improve relationship with most critical manufacturing partners
  • Report directly to the Tenders Manager with regular meetings and strategy discussions, as well as monthly Tender bid reports and action plans, including:
  • New Inquiries Report
  • Weekly Sales Report
  • Weekly Quotation Report
  • Weekly New Order Report
  • Product and Territory Analysis Report
  • Competitor Activity Report
