Job Description

The Telecommunications Project Managers are accountable for organizing telecom systems installation projects. The classic duties involve recruiting team members, allocating tasks, setting goals and deadlines, handling documentation, and consulting with customers.A Telecommunications Project Manager is typically accountable for handling the management of business telecommunications services. This comprises here, site survey, transportation of material, installation, QC, PAT, and DT. A Telecommunications project manager also manages the routine maintenance of telecom networks and corporate telecommunications projects.They provide the know-how regarding present telecom technologies, evolutionary cycles, and corporate plans are also one of the significant liabilities of the Telecommunications Project Manager.Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating work activities pertaining to project management.
  • Set and manage stakeholder expectations specific to the project and ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.
  • Clear understanding of all project roles, monitors project activities, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of the information, while providing consistency in content.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively, and works closely with the associate departments/customers to deliver the project successfully.
  • Ability to lead a project team in a cross-functional environment and communicate project expectations, goals and scope to the teams effectively.
  • Oversee cross-functional projects and exhibit an understanding of critical cross-module integration points.
  • Communicate project direction, approach, priorities, events, and status to all project resources and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables are on time and on budget while meeting customer satisfaction expectations, project acceptance and revenue recognition.
  • Maintain experience in tracking and managing projects using MS Project/Excel or similar PM software.
  • Handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individual.
  • Mitigate project risks and manages issues, manage project scope and change.
  • Recognize areas for improvement and develops plans for implementation, when possible.
  • Understand, comply with and enforce company standard policies and procedures.
