Job Description

We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.System Administrator is responsible for Manage, planning, developing, installation, configuration and maintenance of corporate hardware, software and any related infrastructure. This includes the creation of all plans for ensuring functionality, data consistency, security and usability of systems aligned with the organization?s priorities and enabling Company employees to do their work effectively.The System Administrator is responsible for diagnosing and resolving performance issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability. He or she will also be accountable for planning updates and maintenance of hardware and software resources to mitigate limitations and Company approved IT policies to be implemented and responsible to follow up with users.Responsibilities

• Install and configure software and hardware
• Manage network servers and technology tools
• Set up accounts and workstations
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
• Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks including operating systems, applications, and patches,
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
• Ensuring security and other critical IT security systems and components of an organizations efficiency of IT infrastructure.
• Supports, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains server issues and security for enterprise and large scale applications.
• Company approved IT policies to be implemented and responsible to follow up with users.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models and advise to management for the new technology upgrades.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Troubleshoot errors and fix system issues via periodic testing, help desk tickets, and other methods.
• Constantly monitor and assess systems to make sure that processes are operating as designed.
• Set up accounts and workstations, Manage user accounts, creating, updating and removing access as necessary.
• Research and develop process improvements in dedication to continuous improvement.
• Identify and evaluate industry trends in infrastructure to serve as a source of information and advice.
• Service and maintain infrastructure equipment within department and for other departments.
• Responsible for the daily management, upkeep and configuration of computer systems of an organization or business and Perform daily backup operations.
• Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports related to assigned activities; provide special reports as requested by various departments and management.
• Evaluates systems and alternate solutions; develops functional specifications, diagrams, drawings and requirements for hardware and software purchase and design to ensure optimum system and enduser performance; makes recommendations for changes and additional services.
• Creates, and maintains written and verbal procedures; prepares written technical documentation, training material, standards, reports, and other documents as assigned.
• Analyzes and resolves issues, gathers information to identify needs, evaluates systems and network requirements, and Diagnoses and resolves complex software, server, and networking issues.
• Installs server hardware and components such as disks, memory, and other components; models and tests changes to production systems.
• Configures systems for high availability including strategies for back-up and recovery, failover, load balancing, and full redundancy.
• Manages, deploys, configures, and maintains servers in a virtualized and traditional environment.
• Troubleshoots, reviews and resolves blocked websites; performs a variety of duties related to filter management.
• Manage Activity Directory Management to staff in managing user and computer accounts.
• Research, recommend, install, configure, upgrade and administer hardware (Server, Storage, Telephony, Client, Vendor, Customer, Users, Network) and peripherals to achieve operational requirements and project specifications.
• Manager Active Directory, Exchange Servers, SCCM, WSUS,
• Experience in Cisco Layer2 and 3 Switches with Management, Configuration and Installation
• Manage a Network and System related projects
• Manage and advise the Systems Security and implemention of New Security Measures
