Job Description

You will play a critical role in maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing stock discrepancies, and contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.As a Stock Controller in our logistics company, you will be responsible for overseeing the stock management process and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of stock control operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing stock discrepancies, and contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining records of goods movements, adjustments and inventory
  • Conducting regular inspections of incoming goods for quality and quantity
  • Recording all transactions and movements of goods accurately in the inventory management system. Updating product information, prices and quantities of goods
  • Implementing stock rotation strategies to minimize product expiry and ensure timely use of perishable goods
  • Generating regular reports on stock levels, goods movement and discrepancies identified
  • Conducting periodic inventory counts to verify accuracy of inventory levels and identify discrepancies
  • Implementing measures to prevent loss, damage or theft
  • Collaborate with various departments including purchasing, sales and logistics to optimize inventory management processes and ensure alignment with overall business objectives
