Job Description

The Sr. Planning Engineer / Planning Manager plays a crucial role in the construction and building industry, particularly in managing and coordinating project schedules to ensure timely completion. This position requires a strategic mindset and extensive experience in project planning and management. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning process from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with the overall objectives and timelines. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using advanced planning software.
  2. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
  3. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding schedule adherence.
  4. Identify potential delays and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  5. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
  6. Lead planning meetings and facilitate discussions to resolve scheduling conflicts.
  7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the planning process.
  8. Train and mentor junior planning staff to enhance team capabilities.
