Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in developing the Transportation Operations services offered by Solutions Division.
  • Support in developing operational infrastructure, operational procedures and special product handling requirements related to Transporting of Air cargo/ Sea Freight/ Bonded Transportations and overall multimodal operational logistics.
  • Able to develop the product to match the requirements of the local authorities for Aviation and Aerospace, Defense, and Customs Authorities.
  • Strategic planning on managing overall operations and controlling running costs.
  • Ensure the allocation of assignments of staff are done properly.
  • Ensure the assignment of vehicles to couriers Ability to manage large operational Projects across GCC.
  • Monitor all Staff activities and validate report incomplete operational activities.
  • Ensure all the temperature Shipments are transported and maintained within given customer specifications
  • Ensure all Shipments are properly packaged, and safely transported in the right conditions and environment
  • Monitor daily operational activities and plan corrective actions for failed activities
  • Ensure all activities are reported and updated in system.
  • Ensure all activities are accomplished on time, pickup &delivery Ensure to report failures, issues and challenges to supervisor to make sure smooth flow of pickup and delivery.
  • Ensure on-time connection and on-time arrival of trips
  • Forecasts and monitors operational needs.
  • Organizes operations staffing and workflows.
  • Ensure proper control over staff duty timing and eliminating the need of providing overtime.
  • Coordinates and works hand in hand with maintenance workshop keeping vehicles in up-to-date condition.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly utilized
  • Monitor individual performance of team as well as station
  • Ensure compliance to Operating Procedures and operation flow.
  • Liaise with internal divisions and customers to attend their operational needs.
