Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SOC L1 to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a SOC L1, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, conducting investigations, and providing incident response support. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients systems and data.Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor security events and alerts to identify potential threats or suspicious activities.
  2. Analyze and investigate security incidents to determine the root cause and impact.
  3. Provide incident response support, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
  4. Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement security controls and measures.
  5. Create and maintain documentation related to security incidents, investigations, and response activities.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  7. Participate in security incident management and escalation processes.
  8. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness training programs.
  10. Respond to and resolve security inquiries and requests from clients and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a SOC or similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge of network protocols, security technologies, and tools.
  3. Experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and other security monitoring systems.
  4. Understanding of incident response processes and methodologies.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  9. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC are a plus.
  10. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.
