Develop GNC design architecture and technical roadmap supporting Programs
Lead simulation/software development and manage task delegation to team members
Develop dynamic vehicle aerodynamic, and hardware/sensor models
Develop guidance algorithms to provide mission capability
Design and tune controllers for vehicle stability and control
Design, analysis, implementation, and testing of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) algorithms for air vehicle
Develop and maintain high-fidelity 6-DOF simulations with Matlab/Simulink
Development concept of operations and participation in mission simulations and mission operations
Design, analyze, and tune sequential filters (e.g. Kalman filters) for attitude determination and relative navigation
Analyze and test the air vehicle GNC subsystem performance using simulations and other analytic tools
Develop simulation models for sensors (e.g. accelerometer, GPS, magnetometer, ), actuators (e.g. reaction wheel, torque bar, thruster,), and system dynamics (e.g. rigid body, multi-body, orbit mechanics, flexible models)
