Job Description

Alfanar is currently recruiting for a site engineer with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector to join its EPC Construction business. The role will be based in Riyadh, KSA.Alfanar Construction provides turnkey EPC solutions throughout the Middle East and has recently won an LPG Storage Expansion Project from GASCO Saudi Arabia.?Experience:Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Process (LPG, LNG, Regasification, Liquified hydro-carbon fuels engineering, LPG Storage and Distribution Station) in the following

  • Engineering and Construction lead for the LPG Bullet Mounding and distribution experience
  • Site Engineering Co-ordination with the Consultant and Client?s Engineer.
  • Lead, direct and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex engineering solutions in accordance with Engineering Standards and Good Practice.
  • Selection of process equipment?s, process and design optimization
  • Familiar with engineering standards, procedures and Good Practice with respect to Gas handling (preferably LPG)
  • Detailed knowledge of the Detailed Design engineering process.
  • LPG storage, transfer and truck loading design experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of API, BS EN, EEMUA, NFPA and ASME standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Designing & Technical Review
  • Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Design Calculations and Review
  • Exposure on Preparation of RfP?
  • Review of PFD, P&IDs, Equipment Specifications, data sheets
  • Liaise with Engineering Consultant and review the Basic & detail Design Engineering activities and design deliverables for the assigned project(s) in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas field in accordance with industry or client standard
  • Evaluation of vendor?s quotations, clarifications, Technical Bid Analysis etc.; Review of vendor?s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations
  • Process and detail engineering planning and scheduling; Resource Optimization, Lead, direct and Co-ordinate for Interface with all parties and work
  • Ensuring engineering progress with respect to engineering deliverables as per project schedule
  • Ensures effective communication between the internal teams and 3rd party engineering firms and equipment suppliers
  • Lead the discussion on cause and effect diagrams; control and shutdown philosophies; HAZOP, HAZID, QRA, SIMOPS, HSEIA Studies?
