Job Description

Operations & Support:

7. Windows Powershell Scripting experience preferred
8. Document FAQs and IT information for both IT staff as well as user community including continuous updates to the documentation of infrastructure in place
9. Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.
10. Serve as a project manager on key IT projects for internal initiatives and external customer deliverables.

Software & TechnologiesSystems: Expert in the following: Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, Cisco Systems, IP/PBX, VoIP gateways and VMware Vsphere Enterprise 5.0-6.7, VCenter Enterprise solution, NSX, Horizon VDI and Windows remote desktop services.Windows Server: expert knowledge expected in AD, DHCP, DNS, GP, WSUS and Distributed File System (DFS) with hands-on knowledge of Share PointInstall new / rebuild and upgrade existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with the best practice requirements based on vendor?s white papers and deployment guides.Provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identify, research, and resolve hardware and software related issues escalated by the technician staff.Network and Database Administration:

1. Manage network infrastructure (traffic, operations, hardware, troubleshooting, connections), manage all system upgrades and backups, implements security and firewall strategies, set up and maintains all VDI/RDPs/desktops/laptops/iPads/phones/computer related equipment, maintains all software licenses and upgrades with the help of the technical staff.
2. Networking: Expert in the following: Switches, Routers, Aruba Wireless Controller, Layer 2 and 3 switching including QoS, VLANS and networking peripherals
3. Strong experience in network monitoring tools where you will define policies and configure the system to monitor storage, file servers, ports and everything on the network.
4. Administration of servers in high availability environment and clusters.
5. Manages all system & Databases/system data back-up and restore protocol which already implemented and in place with MS SQL Enterprise edition.
6. Implement and Manage Security groups, user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam and continuously improves on them.

Security & Firewalls:

1. Oversee software and network security.
2. Strong knowledge of firewall central management applications preferably Fortinet firewalls
3. Experience in Anti-Virus enterprise level solutions, end-point protection, Mobile Device Management (MDM)
4. Strong knowledge of site to site VPN?s in a mesh environment
5. Implement and Manage network security policies.
6. Configure and support security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software, patch management systems, anti-spam ? etc.
7. Perform vulnerability and networking scanning assessments.
8. Monitor network traffic for unusual activity.

Storage and Backup:

1. Manage and maintain VM backups
2. Manage and maintain user backups
3. Deploy DR for VMs and user?s desktops/laptops/VDI
4. Experience in Arcserve storage and backup appliance or equivalent
5. Experience in Quantum storage appliance or equivalent

VMWARE Technologies:

1. Manage and maintain VDI solution
2. Manage and maintain remote terminal services using VMs
3. Experience in Mirage is preferred
4. NSX preferred for advance APP networking and security

?Special working conditions: (travel, etc..)

1. May require travel to remote offices
2. May require services on weekend network / system maintenance work
3. Shared rotational on-call responsibilities.
