Daily inspection of site works, making sure that execution is being done according to approved shop drawings and approved materials.
Review the Shop drawings, Structural drawings, reports, specifications, and materials submittals submitted by the Contractor/Subcontractor to ensure completeness, correctness, comply with the scope of work and requirements.
Carry out a constructability review.
Ensure that the Contractor/subcontractor incorporated the comments raised from previous Stages.
Attend Technical meetings with the Contractors Sub-Contractors and other Project Management team members.
Coordinate with the Document Controller to ensure that all documents related to his discipline are properly controlled.
Review and approve product data, samples, inspection and test reports, and other Contractor submittals.
Instruct the Contractor/subcontractor to take samples as required.
Prepare lists of defects and issues and check rectification by the Contractor.
Ensure that the Contractors as-built drawings and operations and maintenance manuals are in order.
Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
