Senior MEP Design Engineer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities Perform and coordinate the collection, verification, and integration of work scopes into the overall project plan. Prepare quality shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and as-built documentation for construction and handover. Perform design validation, design verification, and drawing reviews with consultants to obtain approvals. Design, analyze, and coordinate safe, efficient, and code-compliant MEP systems. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure project deliverables meet client requirements, project specifications, and applicable standards. Design and develop: HVAC Systems Electrical Systems Plumbing Systems Fire Fighting Systems Fire Alarm Systems ELV Systems Coordinate MEP services with architectural and interior design teams. Prepare design drawings, engineering/load calculations, BOQs, and technical specifications. Liaise with consultants, clients, contractors, and site teams to ensure design intent is implemented correctly. Prepare riser diagrams, schematics, isometric drawings, BIM models, and shop drawings. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify installation quality and design compliance. Prepare as-built drawings and participate in testing and commissioning activities. Coordinate architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV disciplines. Develop and coordinate detailed BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 400. Use Navisworks for clash detection and identify and resolve design conflicts at early stages of construction. Extract BOQs, schedules, and technical data from BIM models to support project planning and execution. Participate in design reviews and client meetings. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers. Support timely project delivery while maintaining design quality and coordination standards.Desired Candidate Profile BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or related discipline. 8?10 years of relevant MEP Design Engineering experience, with strong exposure to multidisciplinary MEP coordination, BIM modelling, construction projects, and interior fit-out projects. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in MEP design and coordination, with the ability to manage multiple engineering disciplines and coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, contractors, and site teams. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, BIM LOD 300?400, shop drawings, BOQs, and multidisciplinary coordination will be highly relevant.
