Senior Manager ? Facilities ManagementMake a difference every dayThe Job OpportunityThe Client has requested the services of a qualified consultancy team to provide advisory / strategic consultancy services during the development stages of a high profile tourist and luxurious destination located in KSA.Serco will be delivering consultancy services in providing high-level Scope of Work as well as deliverables for a range of Facilities Management studies, required to support the development of a comprehensive FM strategy and detailed FM Implementation Plan.The Senior Manager, reporting to the Project Directorwill be the key catalyst in growing Sercos reputation and involvement in Giga-City Projects. The consultancy teams role is to support in the delivery of Sercos contractual obligations by ensuring the successful implementation of deliverables.Key accountabilities

  • Lead in the development of the Facilities Management Strategy Options, requirements, delivery models of the project which formulates part of the overall Estate Operational Management Strategy of the project
  • Support the internal stakeholders and client in developing a comprehensive Facilities Management strategy and implementation plan (IP)
  • Develop viable FM strategy options for the project and associated business cases in high-rise, mixed use urban environments and asset classes.
  • Facility management is affected by technology changes and advancements with innovation, which should be reflected in the strategy options.
  • Review of Urban Planning and concept design documents to inform the options proposed.
  • It is essential to consider the needs and impacts of all stakeholders interfacing with the project, when developing the FM strategy options.
  • Coordinate closely with Urban Planning (UP) and Finance teams of the client to select preferred FM strategy and business model option relevant to the project?s assets and the stakeholder needs.
  • Develop FM strategy for all public realm assets that is fully aligned with project?s overall strategy
  • Review current CAFM systems available in the market and make recommendations
What we are looking for in our candidates:
  • An existing network within KSA is desirable
  • Broad and practical experience of the built environment with a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
  • Proven experience of Integrated Facilities Management
  • A respected leader capable of developing close working relationships with the client to ensure the mutual success for all stakeholders and longevity of the contract and beyond
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at an individual and team level
Specific requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum 10 years? experience of FM and at least 5 years experience in managing teams
  • Experience of managing multiple teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Demonstrated analytical, organisational business and negotiation skills
