• Responsible for producing architectural working drawings including all details for ?architectural interior projects and construction documents.
• Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
• Produces construction documents in AutoCAD.
• Competent in drafting (Sketch-up, Autocad, etc.)
• Complete understanding of the design process.
• Should take into account interior construction, lighting and furnishings in creating plans for a space.
• Able to assess and deal with problems and complex design issues.
• Demonstrate fluency with residential and commercial building materials, details and construction techniques.
• Must be aware of Saudi building regulations and ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Complete audits concerning material and quantity.
• Monitors material quality and project finishing.
• Identify trends in the market concerning the interior design
• Interfaces with teams and ?senior management and project managers.
• Work with the internal Design team, as well as?contractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate between the client and design team including scheme designers, space planners, constructors , and consultants.
• Meeting with the client to discuss the expectations for the project and determine their needs and requirements.
• Developing and presenting project proposals.
• Able to create presentation books and other sales materials.
• Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
• Full responsibility in drafting plans to create or refinish spaces in high end residential and commercial buildings.
• Site visits and assisting in construction supervision.
• Site survey / measures of existing conditions and producing drawings.
• Adjusting designs and plans to meet the clients needs.
• Provide solutions to design problems and generate design alternatives.
• Strong understanding of budgets, schedules and fees.
• Working with the Project Manager, supervise, and check activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
• Maintain and organize project files, schedules and specifications.
• Professional Project and time management and planning and ensure advising senior management about status of assignment(s) with respect to schedule, budgets, delays, and adverse problems.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Detail oriented, deadline driven, fast paced team player, high level of organization and familiarity with typical office communication tools.
• Easily able to cultivate, build and nurture lasting client relationships.
• Responsible for the complete project implementation process, working independently at project concept development?and prepare tender documents based on the clients? specifications.
• Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
• Ensure quality design and always promote the highest level of professionalism.
• Managing project teams and collaborating with other construction professionals.
