To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people and the effective implementation of Arcadis Health, Safety and Environment Policies through our corporate and delivery solutions.? Promote and highlight the benefits of a good safety culture to our employees, clients, partners and all other stakeholders as we strive for zero incidents in everything we doRole accountabilities:? Ensuring alignment and promote the Arcadis Health & Safety Vision and Policies? Provide necessary advice and support to our people to fulfil their health, safety, and environmental responsibilities? Set a personal example regarding H&S stewardship and demonstrating to Colleagues, Clients and all Business partners that good H&S management is an essential integral element of our business? Be an active part of initiatives that enhance the reputational and performance aspects of the business? Stay appraised of legislative and other requirements? Ensure appropriate timely escalation and reporting of all staff and contractor incidents? Provide all necessary advice, support and guidance, to ensure that all health and safety obligations and responsibilities are met? Maintain appropriate communications within the wider team community? Monitor, inspect and record all site works in accordance with the contractual scope? Report issues to project lead for Arcadis and the contractor for immediate resolution? Ensure that appropriate techniques, process, procedures and compliance requirements are met to ensure we deliver exemplar performance and a consistent approach is maintained to our delivery solutions, this includes but not limited to:? Ensure an Arcadis Health and Safety Plan (HASP) has been developed, communicated to staff and is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure it remains suitable and sufficient to our scope of delivery and safety of our people? Review and comment upon contractors Health and Safety Plans? Attend Project and Contractor Health and Safety meetings? Ensure verification of contractor performance statistics? Review Incident/Accident investigation reports from contractors, reporting & communicating the learning points, and monitor the immediate action and follow-up actions to minimize / prevent re-occurrence.? Statistical reports ? Review and comment upon submitted method statements and risk assessments and ensure effective hazard identification and risk management processes are appropriate to the tasks? Monitor site activities and produce as a minimum weekly inspection reports? Take immediate effective actions when safety measures on site are not being adhered toQualifications & Experience:? Bachelor?s degree level qualification or NEBOSH Diploma? Prefer to hold HSE professional membership in CMIOSH or equivalent? At least 8years? relevant health and safety experience in a similar working environment? Experience of developing and delivering HSE services as part of the Project Management team for a reputable international consultancy? Experience working on mixed-use building developments? The ability to contribute the broader regional policy development?
