Senior Engineer - Wet UtilitiesA position has arisen for a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer within our Infrastructure team in Riyadh - Saudi Arabia.The ideal candidate will possess Middle East infrastructure experience (drainage, sewage, wet utilities and hydrology).   • Working on the delivery of multidisciplinary projects, with technical inputs from numerous disciplines, including transport, energy, sustainability, and building engineers
  • Preparing designs, drawings, technical reports, specification, and schedules.
  • Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects, collaborate with other disciplines as well as having excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Design gravity and pressure networks for masterplan, transportation and highway projects
  • Design right of way cross sections for all utilities
  • Produce reports, drawings, calculations and presentations
  • Submit designs to local authorities and follow up to obtain approvals
  • Use AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, EPANET, Infoworks-ICM, Civil3D HecRAS and Microsoft office
  • Interface with the wider BH infrastructure and teams, architects, masterplanners, stakeholder

  • A highly organised, creative, and conscientious individual, capable of managing multiple key stakeholder expectations
  • Excellent written, visualisation and verbal communication skills, and can easily simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A positive, resilient attitude with a willingness to undertake volume work processes
  • Proven ability to manage time and act with pace, demonstrating a highly organised approach to work, and customer service.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write complex reports and RFPs
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities
  • Excellent organisational and technical skills
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills

  • Good IT and mathematical skills
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in the Middle East is essential
  • Masters degree (MEng) in Engineering and or a relevant chartership will be advantageous
