Single point of ownership and management for the delivery of a portfolio of projects, from concept design to asset handover, as part of the programme management consultant?s role on a major programme of infrastructure development works
Day to day management of individual project Design Managers and Project Managers depending on the phase of each project.
Interface with all disciplines of the programme management consultant team to meet the overall programme deliverables, including HSE, QA, engineering, project controls and commercial to ensure consistent reporting across their portfolio, of a level that allows timely decisions to be made.
Interface with all relevant Government Departments and Agencies, Design and Supervision Consultants and Construction Contractors to meet the individual project and the overall programme deliverables
Provide the interface between projects in and ensure that lessons learnt are applied across all projects .
Ensure the availability and implementation of an effective delivery strategy, standards, policies, procedures and best practices
Review the performance of the Design and Supervision Consultants and the Construction Contractors within their portfolio, monitoring KPI?s, including on QHS&E requirements and take appropriate action where improvements are required.
Ensure the required support is provided to facilitate the timely payment of invoices and resolution of variations and claims.
