Job Description

Summary:The Senior BID Specialist (KSA) will be responsible for developing proposals (in Arabic and English) to respond to RFPs provided by the Client. The candidate is expected to have 10 years of experience in proposal preparation for an A/E Consultant and have hands-on experience and knowledge of the design process and bid life cycle.Responsibilities:

  • Review of RFP
  • Prepare a Synopsis of the RFP to support the Country Director, Director of Development and Proposals Manager in deciding on Go - No GO
  • Prepare Storyboard for review by Proposals Manager
  • Capture all elements that need to be priced (Prepare Checklist)
  • Identify requirements of Specialist Consultants and obtain quotes and coordinate
  • Prepare Technical Proposal
  • Coordinate with the KSA team / Centre of Excellence Kuwait
  • Prepare Financial Proposal (in coordination with the Country Director, Director of Development and Proposals Manager)
  • Coordinate Printing & Delivery (Logistics of submission)
  • Post Submission queries, clarification, and presentation
  • Proposal handover to Operations
  • Proposal updates and reports for Country Director KSA and CFO
Education:Graduate in Engineering / Management Qualification:
  • Experience of 10 years in preparing proposals for similar A/E Consultants
  • Knowledge of Design & Construction Processes (eg: RIBA)
  • Knowledge of full Bid Life cycle (RFP, Preparation of Technical Proposal, Preparation of Financial Proposal, Post Tender Clarification, Contract Support)
  • Read and write fluently in both English and Arabic (Technical terminology should be accurate while preparing proposals in Arabic)
  • Proficient in MS Office in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Adobe In Design will be an added advantage)
Professional Experience:
  • At least 10 years of experience in preparing proposals in a reputed A/E Consultancy firm
Functional Experience:
  • At least 10 years experience as a Proposal Coordinator or a Sr. Proposal Coordinator in preparing proposals in a reputed A/E Consultancy firm
