Job Description

SNC Lavalin are looking for a Senior Accountant. The key responsibility is to prepare of financial reports, variance analysis, reconciliations. Assist the operations with budget preparation and reviewMain Roles and Responsibilities

  • Key deliverables: Preparation of financial reports, Variance Analysis and Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, including account reconciliations and variance analysis, monthly accruals and cash flow.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual Project office budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Work closely with finance and project teams across the portfolio.
  • Develops and produces executive, portfolio and detail reporting as required by management team, corporate office or the client.
  • Assist in the coordination, development, communication and implementation of policies and practices to ensure financial reporting and all financial and accounting transactions complying with company practices, professional standards, and the terms of the clients? contracts.
  • Support external auditors during year-end audit.
  • Daily bank reconciliations, verify AP invoices for accuracy and approvals prior to forwarding to AP coordinator for entry, monitor vendor payments to ensure we meet our financial KPIs
  • Posting of A/P and A/R batches.
  • Perform analysis and reconciliation of other financial information for both the FM Contractor and KAPSARC.
  • Create and run various reports as required.
  • Performs other related duties, as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Commerce or similar
  • Senior level of CMA, CGA or CA
  • 3+ years in relevant field
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation and report writing skills.
  • Strong planning and co-ordination skills, including ability to meet deadlines and to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Arabic & English ? a must.
