Job Description

  • Analyze the sales data and go through customer surveys and their purchasing patterns to evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing strategies.
  • Prospecting Focus Accounts in the Food & Beverage market sector, key account management, project take off presentations, and new business development.
  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products.
  • Developing and delivering sales bids/proposals/presentations and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Developing medium to long-term sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.
  • Partnering with the operations and logistics teams to ensure efficient mobilizations.
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business.
  • Make in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Taking customer orders, Participate, review and oversee input of orders for customers via communication.
  • React timely to customer problems and needs.
  • Review daily out of stocks, shortages, transportations issues and implement solutions quickly.
  • Review, analyze and react to daily/weekly sales and margin reports looking for improvement opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, trends and who the other distributors/sales organizations are in your market.
  • Develop a relationship with accounts payable (A/P) contact at every account.
