Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Safety Engineer with experience in Fire hazard to join our team. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees, equipment, and facilities through the implementation of safety protocols and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety regulations and standards, as well as experience in conducting safety inspections and audits, specifically related to fire hazards. The Safety Engineer will collaborate with various departments to identify potential safety hazards, including fire hazards, and implement corrective actions. This is a challenging role that requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.   1. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures, specifically related to fire hazards, to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, focusing on identifying and mitigating fire hazards.
  3. Collaborate with different departments to develop fire safety training programs and provide necessary training to employees.
  4. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding fire safety issues and concerns.
  5. Investigate fire accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  6. Stay up to date with the latest fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
  7. Ensure the proper maintenance and inspection of fire safety equipment and systems.
  8. Prepare reports and documentation related to fire safety incidents and compliance.
  9. Participate in safety committees and meetings to address fire safety concerns and implement necessary changes.
  10. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fire safety programs and initiatives.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in safety engineering or a related field, with a focus on fire hazards.
  3. Excellent knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  10. Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
