SummaryAssists with the procurement, maintenance and transportation, cleaning and sterilizing of respiratory equipment and supplies.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1. Maintains respiratory stock levels for Intenasive Care Units and Pulmonary Function Laboratory.2. Assesses and orders warehouse stock requests into computerized inventory system .3. Receives stock supplies from warehouse and assists with distribution to allRespiratory Care Services (RCS) areas.4. Assesses stock and supplies and maintains RCS database for the annual physical inventory.5. Performs quarterly inspection of all Hospital RCS intubation code boxes (except ICUs) to ensure that all devices are present and in good working condition.6. Orders respiratory medical gases as required.EducationHigh School Education is required.Experience RequiredNo experience is required (on job training).Other Requirements(Certificates)- Formal training in Respiratory Care or any related discipline is preferred.-Knowledge of medical consumable supplies including Oracle process preferred.- Knowledge ofhandling medical gas cylinders preferred.- Experience in cleaning and sterilization practices preferred
