Job Description

?BWP are currently representing a leading international rail provider with a large presence in the Middle East. They have an opening for a Rail Safety Manager who will report directly to the HSSE Director.?Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing the rail safety certificates
  • Developing the safety management system (SMS) plan and supporting policies and procedures
  • Continually improving safety performance and reducing risk
  • Training and supporting staff in risk management activities
  • Develop and maintain of the Hazard log and the Principal Risk register
  • Establish and oversee the process for incident and accident reporting and investigation and ensure recommendations are incorporated into the IMS and the Principal Risk Register ?
?Requirements:
  • Degree educated
  • 5 years experience within a similar position
  • 10 years experience within the rail sector
  • Safety experience must be related to passenger rail
  • Previous experience working for a rail operator
  • Experience working for a regulator would be beneficial
