Directs Quality Management System and ensures quality problems are identified and resolved
Monitors Production Departments conformance with Quality Assurance standards and procedures
Evaluates systems, analyzes data, evaluates products and technology, and establishes quality control procedures
Conducts Quality Management System training for all company employees
Suggests methods for improving product quality or manufacturing processes
Oversees inspections and audits both internally and third-party
Participates in vendor evaluations, interfaces with customers and vendors on Quality related problems
Investigates product quality problems and recommends changes or improvements, maintains proper documentation and reports
Performs inspections where necessary to support inspection and production
Supervises the Inspection activities in the manufacturing facility
Knowledgeable of occupational hazards and safety precautions and be able and willing to coach others in complying with program policies and procedures related to such
Follows all safety policies and procedures
Ensure process specs, drawings and other technical documentation is current and updated
Reports any, and all, potential safety hazards, incidents, accidents, and other program concerns to management
Study task operations and task sequence, material flow, organization charts and project information to determine most efficient worker functions and responsibilities
