1.Job Summary:QC Engineer is responsible for preparation of project specific material submittal & method statements. Monitoring of the Quality Management System to safely execute, & commission to specifications. Perform Site inspections, identify gaps and proposing corrective actions. Participation of client meetings, and coordination with internal & external parties. Mentoring & training of site team on the best work practices, sharing knowledges & lessons learnt across the organization at all levels.2.Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Managerial/Supervisory Duties-Develop Project Quality Plans-Carry out material inspections & installation inspections as per project quality plan-Preparation of MIR & WIR-Monitor and report on compliance and nonconformities and maintain relevant records.-Promotes Quality Awareness among project team members, contractors and vendors.-Identify and manage risks that could impact achieving quality objectives.-Follow up on action items and maintain status register-Contribute to the annual Management Review.-Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site.-Surveying the site.-Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.-Ensure that all materials used and work performed is as per specifications.-Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant.-Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect;-Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;-Liaise with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors)-Oversee quality control matters on site and insure the quality plan compliance at all times.-Prepare reports as required;3.Required Qualifications:3.1.
