Job Description

JOB PURPOSEUnderstand safety, health, Quality, and environmental safety management issues/opportunities and clearly communicate solutions to a broad stakeholders base, encourage people to change their methods and beliefs through training; education, and motivation.Achieve a level of safety, health, and environmental safety management that leads to safe operations, staff, and properties under improved cargo culture.? Work with operations staff & others to protect the health and safety of internal and satisfy external customers by ensuring that risks in the workplace are properly controlled and that impacts on the environment are kept at a minimum.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessment, and other safety assessments to support safety, health, and environmental safety management.
• Maintain relevant QQHSE logs and documentation.
• Develops personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities.
• Works independently to collate and analyze data using pre-determined tools, methods, and formats.
• Supports and enables others to use and benefit from existing data management systems.
• Assist in the compliance of applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Prepare applicable QQHSE reports as necessary.
• Conducts internal safety audits and inspections.
• Provide assistance and advice on QQHSE issues and make recommendations to facility management.
• Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
• Promote incident prevention for the benefit of staff, operations, and customers.
• Carries out analysis of accident/incident statistics, identify trends, and suggesting improvement plan
• Assist in the development and presentation of relevant QQHSE training.
• Observe and advocate QQHSE safety and precautionary measures and policies; encourage safe working practices, identify and perform safety hazard analysis and reports to the proper personnel.
• Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct daily and monthly QHSE meetings/Training workshops and presentations and schedule as needed.
• Ensure implementation and managing QHSE programs, policies and procedures.
• Perform facility and QHSE Inspections.
• Acquire knowledge and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements (i.e. GACA, IOSA, ISAGO, OSHA, etc.)
• Ability to oversee DG storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance, i.e. labeling, containment, poor disposal, documentation, etc.
• Assist in emergency response (ERP) planning and implementation and drills.
• Assist in emergency evacuations preparation?s and implementation and drills?
• Oversee behavior-based / Observation safety programs.
• Carries out safety/ audits and inspections on sub-contractors, such as SGS and other third parties.
• Support QHSE management in the organizations roles and responsibilities.
• Accept any request from senior members (work-related).

Continuous Improvement

• Support in identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices while taking into account international leading practices, improvement of business processes, and cost reduction and providing recommendations to the (Duty Superintendent ? QHSSE).?

Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Reports

• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet the (Ground handling) requirements, policies, and standards

Health, Safety & Environment

• Complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
