Job Description

Job briefWe are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to order supplies and equipment based on our company?s needs.Purchasing Assistant responsibilities include researching new vendors, tracking deliveries and updating order records (e.g. dates, invoices and discounts.) If you?re familiar with supply chain procedures and know how to create and translate cost analyses, we?d like to meet you.Ultimately, you will make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain a fully stocked inventory.

  • Followed up for shipment up-to the arrival and departure from warehouse.
  • Overseeing the key performance indicators and achievement reports to ensure supplier agreements are maintained.
  • Ensuring that supplier agreements are upheld by monitoring the key performance indicators and achievement reports.
  • Track the shipment during its arrival and departure from and to the warehouse.
  • Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing need Researching potential vendors.
  • Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Excellent networking and time management skills.
  • Must be able to adhere to client requirements.
  • A skilled communicator who can express ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.
