JOB DESCRIPTION:Develop and review contract bids and solicitations for projects based on what the client needs. Gather supporting documentation to make the proposal more competitive. Determine costs and timelines, and provide recommendations to the pricing team on how to decrease costs and increase profits.ÿPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿPrepare pre-qualification documentation and become intimately familiar with requirements of each bid and solicitation.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿWork with Business Development and Shared Services Management to understand framework agreements and put together bids and proposals, ensuring accuracy of information in a timely manner.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿDevelop best value proposals for our clients showing the company?s capabilities, past performance, management capabilities and plans, quality plans, safety procedures,ÿand fully address all of the responses that the client is requesting.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure all required information is provided prior to commencement of the tender processúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿProvide detailed write-ups for tender submissions showing our expertise in identifying how our company satisfy the clients requirements, liaise with company buyers to obtain the necessary supplies for quotationsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿPrepare and produce tender and full proposal documentation on qualified bids ensuring bid complianceúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCheck all contract documentation and ensure compliance when a bid is successfulúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿIn agreement with sales priorities bids giving the highest return on hours investedúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿProduce bid support material as requiredúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿIntroduce efficiencies and new methods of tendering as well as responding to tendersúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿLiaise with product suppliers for technical information and competitive pricingúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAttend bid clarifications, handover and debriefing meetingsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿMaintain a self-learning process to continually improve the tenders, bids and proposals submitted ÿ
