Project Director ? KSA ? 12 months contractMake a difference every dayWe are currently looking to hire a Project Director whose role, in line with the wider group strategy, will be the key catalyst in growing Serco?s reputation for O&M excellence in existing and new business sectors across the Saudi Kingdom.The Project Director will be reporting into the Country Director ? KSA.Functional reporting to the Director General of Client and/ or the Client?s partner Consultancy.They key purpose of this role is the development, planning and implementation of project strategies across a multi-tiered project requires an in-depth understanding of operational delivery as well as vision to convert a concept of operations to a tangible outcome, in the effort to achieve this problems and opportunities arise that span across the operating model, technology and process changes and our ability to bring a range of skills and capabilities to drive and deliver largescale programmes.The role of the Project Director will be a challenging, complex, and highly rewarding as you will be responsible for the delivery of a high-profile project. The project will look to focus on the operational strategy, purpose, and functional aspects by developing a bottom-up solution and informing the implementation of an operating model.The Client has a royal mandate to ensure effective O&M across all government sectors within KSA. The key purpose of the Technical O&M Director is to lead the delivery of the contract that will:?Provide the Client with a ?World-Class? O&M subject matter expertise resource, both in terms of a blue print for operational standards and procedures, and the team to support their implementation across KSA government entities.?Establish the strong relationships within the Client, its partners and senior leadership in government stake holding entities that facilitate the required operational transformation; and leads to future contractual opportunitiesEssential Technical and Professional Skills

  • 15 years minimum experience of diverse and progressive management consultancy experience
  • 10 years minimum delivery leadership experience
  • 7 years minimum people management experience
  • Building and leading global teams
  • Project and Portfolio Management
  • Developing strategy and driving strategy execution
  • Facility management experience
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of international best practice in O&M, preferably across multiple sectors.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Financial acumen
  • General business knowledge
  • Analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Associates at all levels within the organization
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio

Qualifications
  • Bachelor?s Degree in a relevant field
  • Post-graduate Degree preferred
Key Accountabilities include:
  • Successful delivery of the contractual obligations, including quality, time and budget based deliverables and KPI?s.
  • Establishing and integrating the operational team between the Client and its partner Consultancy.
  • Ensuring the optimized input of offshore consultancy resources and the quality of their contribution to the O&M best practice guidelines
  • Building long-term relationships within the Client, its partners and KSA government entities.
  • Supporting the growth of the Serco reputation for operational excellence within KSA.
  • Identifying and collaborating on new business opportunities within the KSA government sector.
