Job Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.THE ROLE:Reporting to the KBR Projects Control Manager.Provide management oversight to the project controls team including the cost and planning/scheduling functions.Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the data being processedPrepare and check Cost estimates for Design, Construction and Supervision ConsultantsInterface with project personnel to develop project forecasts and analyse projectcostsMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, interpret, and implement project management policies and procedures that adhere to project and KBR standards.
  • Apply in-depth working knowledge of planning techniques and utilize Primavera P6 or MS Project for portfolio analysis and management; provide recommendations for improvement of systems.
  • Contribute to the development of Project Execution Plans. Manage quality development of the project controls team that tracks, monitors, and reports all aspects of the projects and project portfolio. Communicate project forecasts to Project Controls Manager.
  • Responsible for project / portfolio updates and reports, schedule forecasts and updates due to impact of change.
  • Review target budgets in conjunction with engineering and project management, providing cost control oversight to ensure proper project cost management.
