Are you in?Come, and be where it begins.About this Opportunity:We are now looking for a Project Control & Collection responsible to drive financial performance and cash- & credit management of our business in MMEA. You will contribute by assessing the Business Case, TG2 and Program/Fulfillment Assignment structuring, and drive meaningful governance follow up for the accounts you support. You will assure that key assumptions considered in Business Case and TG2 are complete and valid. You will contribute to risk assessment activities before and during execution of the program/projects in the account. You will drive Proactive Cash Collection & Credit management with the KAM organization and work in close collaboration with Trade Finance and Customer Finance. You are responsible to perform accurate forecasting of our collection and AR due on a quarterly base.In sum, you will support Ericsson to drive project profitability, financial predictability, compliance, and improved Working Capital. You will have an end-to-end responsibility for the programs/projects in the account you support and to ensure effective control from pre-sales to collection.What will you do:

  • Engage with CU Controller & Commercial to assess, identify & feedback relevant project financial performance & risks for selected opportunities in portfolio Sales Funnel
  • Identify & address project portfolio control and performance related risks in Business Case (P/L, B/S & Cash Flow), ensuring ability to follow up during execution
  • Engage with Operations during FAS Planning to ensure efficient financial breakdown of Business case into Fulfillment Assignments.
  • Identify & address deviations between budget, forecast & actuals, connect financial deviations to operational progress and identify actions as input to governance, reporting & forecasting
  • Monitor & Control Cashflow & Working Capital assumptions against actuals and propose improvements
  • Advise on consolidated financials & translation of operational plans (billing & cost) into financial plans (NS & CoS)
  • Drive timely financial closure for complete portfolio of projects
  • Secure financial control is established within the project governance framework and drive &follow-up on identified financial performance actions from Project Governance
  • Establish and drive routine AR review meetings within MA and CU, by preparing AR Ageing Report and analytics with Collection Action Plan.
  • Proactively maintaining relationship with Ericsson Customers to ensure that outstanding invoices are paid before or on due date
  • Preparing AR ageing report with comments on collection status, detailing reasons for delayed payment and initiating action plan, agreed with MA/CU/KA.
  • Provide Actionable advice to MA stakeholders regarding Credit Management and manage credit control processes.
  • Perform quarterly Cash collection forecast (Collection, AR due & IFRS9 provisions) and regular updates on collection progress
  • Continuously following up on resolution of collection issues and/or disputes with both internal stakeholders and customer
What will you bring :
  • Degree in Finance / Accounting or Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years? experience in relevant position
Additional requirement:
  • Excellent analytical skills: identify trends, inefficiencies, and see value realization opportunities
  • Understanding of Financial Model and Accounting Directives (i.e. IFRS15)
  • Experienced in Financial Analysis, Accounting & Reporting in a project environment
  • Business understanding in areas of Networks, Managed Services and Digital Services.
  • Capable of deciding & initiating action for improved financial performance of programs/projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relations with Ericsson customers & internal stakeholders across different functions
  • Excellent in persuading and influencing stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English
