The Project Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our projects, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting. Our client is currently looking for a high calibre project accounting manager as part of their massive growth plan.DescriptionDevelop and manage project budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.Provide financial analysis and recommendations to project managers and senior leadership, identifying areas of concern and potential opportunities for improvement.Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate billing, collections, and cash management.Oversee project accounting functions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations.Manage financial reporting for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures related to project accounting, ensuring adherence to internal controls and best practices.Provide guidance and training to project team members on financial and accounting principles.Collaborate with other finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial resultsProfileBachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders.Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools, with knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Job OfferHigh involvement in strategic decision makingOpportunity to be part of a PIF company
