Job Description

Urgent requirement for Production Operation Engineer for a cutting edge Bank and financial service provider based in Saudi Arabia on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with an innovative and forward thinking Bank looking to provide the highest quality of service in the Kingdom.The role Responsible for top tier support of native cloud applications, including development and scaling with speed and efficiency. Work alongside a team of platform to ensure minimal downtime and smooth running of the production environment andmonitoring of the applications.

  • Work with development teams to improve services through release procedures and testing
  • Involved in system design, capacity planning and platform management
  • System and service sustainability improvements using automation
  • Production experience using Kubernetes as well as experience with Kubernetes on cloud platforms
  • Experience building tools and automating processes
  • Oracle, GCP, AWS or Azure ? experience with one or more of these platforms in a professional/ production environment
  • Deploying services within highly regulated environments and industries
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and CI/CD
Essential experience
  • 5+ years experience with mobile application support / production
  • Experience in the financial sector
  • Oracle cloud infrastructure experience
  • Networking protocols
  • Troubleshooting and network debugging network issues
  • Containerisation and Virtualisation experience
  • Bash scripting experience
  • Experience with 1 or more programming language ? Java, C++, C#, ect
  • Linux experience and understanding of concepts
  • Experience with Security including - Symmetric, Asymmetric encryption
