Job Description

Purpose of Role:To carry out as required hour to hour production duties that convert raw and packaging materials into finish product that comply with all the quality standards, systems and processes established by the business. To carry out all duties following all Health and Safety and GMP practices.?Job Summary:To be a self-starter but also to be able to take direction from Shift Team Leaders and colleagues as the business requires. The manufacture of our Dairy products requires close attention to detail. Every Production Machine Operative carries out ongoing quality observations through the course of every day.?Responsibilities:

  1. To abide by all GMP which include proper clothing, safety PPE, GMP such as hand washing.
  2. Be responsible for ingredients and packaging and associated quality standards against established specifications.?
  3. Ensure Process and Packaging equipment is operated correctly.
  4. Ensure the equipment is kept in good working order and that any issue or concern is escalated to the Shift Team Leader.?
  5. Ensure packing colleagues are kept aware of the processing and packing of products.
  6. Clean equipment to the required standard using the required cleaning equipment and chemicals.?
  7. Carry our ?Good Catches? on a routine basis to ensure a safe workplace.
  8. Self-improve by learning FI principals and participating in training programs.?
  9. Work cross functionally with other departments as required.
  10. Make yourself available to the Shift Leader as required to meet all company objectives.?
