Job position: Procurement OfficerCompany Overview:Our Client is a leading multi-disciplined food and beverage distributor, manufacturer, and third-party logistics service provider operating in UAE.After more than a decade of developing a successful brand name in the region, they are now innovative along with a portfolio of premium products under their own brand nameTheir Headquarters is located in Dubai and they are now seeking to hire an experienced Procurement Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.The Procurement Officer is responsible for evaluating suppliers, maintaining relationships, approving products, and ensuring the cost-effective procurement of materials, parts, or goods.Responsibilities:

  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Following and enforcing the companys procurement policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
  • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
